Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Humboldt Research Fellowship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Academic Qualification
    • Hold a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent).
    • Postdoctoral applicants must have completed their degree within the past four years.
    • Experienced researchers must have completed their PhD within the past twelve years.
  2. Nationality and Residence
    • Open to non-German citizens.

Selection Steps
