Standard Chartered Bank and Junior Achievement Nigeria
The Standard Chartered Digital Bootcamp 2026 is a funded training programme designed to equip young Nigerians with practical digital and workplace skills that are in high demand across today's job market. The programme is organized by Standard Chartered Bank in partnership with Junior Achievement Nigeria (JAN) as part of their commitment to empowering young people with the skills needed to succeed in the digital economy.
The bootcamp offers an intensive 10-day physical training programme where participants receive hands-on instruction from experienced facilitators while working alongside other ambitious young professionals. Upon successful completion, participants earn an industry-recognized certificate that can strengthen their CVs and improve their employment prospects.
Participants can choose from several career-focused learning tracks, including Cyber Security, Data Analytics, UI/UX Design, Digital Marketing, IT Support, and Project Management. These courses are designed to prepare young people for opportunities in the rapidly growing digital sector.
The Standard Chartered Digital Bootcamp forms part of Standard Chartered's commitment to supporting youth employability through digital skills development. Delivered in collaboration with Junior Achievement Nigeria, the programme focuses on providing practical, career-ready training rather than traditional classroom instruction.
The bootcamp is open to young people living in Abuja (FCT), Rivers, Kaduna, and Ondo States. During the programme, participants engage in practical exercises, collaborative projects, and interactive sessions that mirror real workplace challenges.
Rather than offering general technology lessons, the programme allows participants to specialize in a particular field that aligns with their career interests. Experienced trainers guide learners through industry-relevant tools and techniques while helping them develop problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
The programme also creates networking opportunities by bringing together young graduates, NYSC members, unemployed and underemployed youth, women, and participants from low-income communities. By the end of the bootcamp, participants leave with practical knowledge, increased confidence, and a recognized certificate that can support future employment or entrepreneurial opportunities.
