As an Architectural Engineer Intern with Startup Greece an organization committed to supporting entrepreneurship and innovation within the Greek start-up ecosystem you will directly contribute to key construction and infrastructure projects. Working alongside the engineering team, you will assist with conceptual design, drafting plans and blueprints, conducting site visits, supporting project-management tasks, and helping implement building-projects from inception to completion.
In addition to technical responsibilities, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project delivery and gain holistic exposure to construction-engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the conceptual design and development of construction/infrastructure projects.
- Create technical drawings, plans and blueprints using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Google SketchUp or similar.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
- Support project-management efforts, including tracking schedules and project budgets.
- Provide technical input in problem-solving meetings and contribute innovative engineering solutions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to align engineering deliverables with wider project objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline or have graduated within the past year.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
- Proficiency in drafting and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (or equivalent).
- Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Available to commit full-time for the full six-month duration of the internship (16 Nov 2025 – 15 May 2026).
- Note: This is an unpaid internship. Interns are required to bring their own laptop.
