Sandra Boako

Sandra Boako is a content and media professional based in Accra, Ghana, known for her work in voice-over, editorial writing, and event coordination. A biology undergraduate at the University of Ghana, she brings scientific rigor and creative communication together — translating complex topics, including AI and digital systems, into content that resonates with broad audiences.

At Insight Ghana, Sandra serves as a Voice-Over Artist, Editorial Content Contributor, and Administrative Assistant, producing voice-over recordings and written content for publication and broadcast, and working with editors and producers to shape scripts for clarity and audience engagement. She previously wrote for Data Blogverse, publishing on data, AI, and digital systems for audiences across Ghana and the continent.

She is Assistant General Secretary at EduHub Ghana, supporting administrative operations, meeting documentation, and stakeholder communications, and has helped plan initiatives focused on youth development — including judging a schools’ spelling contest in Kumasi aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She currently interns in marketing and sales at O.K. and Partners, building on earlier sales and marketing experience at Prudential Insurance. Her scientific grounding includes a neuroscience research internship at Korle Bu Medical School.

Event coordination is a strong thread through Sandra’s career. She served as Event Volunteer Coordinator for the 40 Under 40 Awards Ghana and as Volunteer Coordinator for FESTAC Africa, a week-long international festival. At the 2026 Academic Competition (AIRTAD, Implementers & YAMORANSA Model), she managed real-time score tracking and results processing. Her portfolio also spans the Emy Africa Expo, the Big Street Fest with Chef Abby (serving over 15,000 people), the B5 Plus Group corporate inauguration, and the African Women’s Conference, where she earned a certificate and recommendation letter for her performance.

She has also worked as a Personal Assistant, managing scheduling and confidential administrative tasks, and as a Runway & Commercial Model with Techne Agency.
