Dankwah Ellen Baah

Dankwah Ellen Baah is a Biomedical Engineering student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a passion for healthcare innovation, technology, leadership, service, and community development.

Ellen is a student leader who currently serves as the General Secretary of Women in Engineering (WinE), KNUST, Secretary of the Ghana Methodist Students’ Union (GHAMSU) –Kumasi Diocesa and Ethics Officer for Clean Ocean Project Ghana (COPG), KNUST.

Beyond her leadership roles, she has been actively involved in volunteering, mentorship, community outreach, women-in-STEM initiatives, and youth development programmes. Through these experiences, she has developed strong skills in administration, communication, teamwork, event coordination, leadership, and project management.

As a Biomedical Engineering student, Ellen has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence, healthcare technology, biomedical innovation, and developing accessible solutions to healthcare challenges. She is passionate about using technology and her skills to contribute to meaningful change in society.

Ellen joins Global Opportunities Desk as an Administrative Assistant, bringing with her a strong spirit of service, organization, leadership, and continuous learning. In this role, she looks forward to contributing to the team while helping create and support opportunities that enable individuals to grow academically, professionally, and personally.
