Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health at GBHI 2027–2028

The Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) 2027–2028 is a fully funded fellowship opportunity for experienced professionals who are committed to improving brain health and reducing the impact of dementia in communities around the world.

The programme brings together emerging leaders from different professional and academic backgrounds, including medicine, public health, research, policy, education, social sciences, economics, journalism, technology, and the arts. Fellows receive specialised education, leadership development, mentoring, and opportunities to build long-term international collaborations.

For the 2027–2028 cycle, applicants can choose between two fellowship sites: Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the United States. The Trinity programme is full-time and in-person in Dublin, while the UCSF programme follows a part-time global hybrid model. Applicants can apply to only one site during the application cycle.

About Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health

The Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health programme is run by the Global Brain Health Institute, a partnership based at Trinity College Dublin and the University of California, San Francisco.

The programme focuses on developing leaders who can address inequalities in brain health and reduce the impact of dementia.
