Applications are now open for the CivicAction DiverseCity Fellows Program 2027–2028. The year-long leadership programme brings together emerging leaders from diverse sectors to strengthen inclusive leadership, expand cross-sector collaboration, and address complex civic challenges across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
Powered by Purpose Unlimited, the DiverseCity Fellows Program equips participants with the knowledge, relationships, and practical leadership experience needed to drive meaningful change in their organizations and communities. Fellows engage in collaborative learning, mentorship, dialogue, and action-oriented projects while becoming part of a growing network of civic leaders committed to building a more inclusive and prosperous region.
The DiverseCity Fellows Program is an award-winning leadership initiative designed to develop the next generation of civic leaders. Since its launch, the programme has connected leaders from business, government, academia, nonprofits, and community organizations, encouraging collaboration across sectors to tackle shared social and economic challenges.
Throughout the fellowship, participants engage in leadership development sessions, group discussions, networking events, and collaborative projects focused on advancing equity, inclusion, and systems change within the GTHA.
