Applications are open for the Cloneshouse Internship Programme 2027, a practical learning and professional development opportunity designed for young and emerging professionals interested in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, business development, evidence generation and impact technology.

The programme is delivered by Cloneshouse Foundation in collaboration with Cloneshouse LLC, a specialist monitoring, evaluation and learning firm. It is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical professional experience by giving interns exposure to real assignments, technical mentorship and professional workflows.

The 2027 cohort will select 15 interns from eligible countries across West Africa. Applicants do not need to already be experts in monitoring and evaluation. Instead, the programme is looking for curious, diligent and goal oriented individuals who have a genuine interest in evaluation, evidence, development practice, research, learning, technology or related areas.

 

About the Internship

The Cloneshouse Internship Programme is designed to prepare emerging professionals for careers involving evidence informed decision making, accountability, development practice and sustainable development.

Through practical assignments and professional mentorship, interns gain exposure to the workflows involved in monitoring, evaluation and learning. The programme also creates opportunities for participants to strengthen their professional skills and develop practical experience that can support their transition into early career roles.

Cloneshouse Foundation describes the programme as providing real world project experience, coaching and portfolio development for aspiring professionals. The Foundation's wider work focuses on equipping young people with practical skills, mentorship and experience needed for work, leadership and civic participation.

Cloneshouse LLC has more than 14 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning and operates across numerous African countries. Its work includes performance monitoring, evaluation, capacity strengthening and development of technology for data collection, analysis and visualisation.
