Applications are open for the Propelling Black Entrepreneurship Program 2026, an initiative designed to help Black entrepreneurs in Canada strengthen their businesses and prepare for sustainable growth. The programme provides access to professional services that can help entrepreneurs address important legal, business planning and financial needs.
The programme is delivered by the Federation of African Canadian Economics, also known as FACE Coalition, with support from the TD Ready Commitment. For the 2026 cohort, eligible entrepreneurs can access professional services valued at up to CAD 2,500 through service providers Endlex Legal Inc. and MNP.
Rather than providing unrestricted cash directly to applicants, the programme connects selected entrepreneurs with professional service providers according to their business needs. Support can help businesses establish stronger legal foundations, improve financial planning, prepare for financing and strengthen their overall readiness for long term growth.
The Propelling Black Entrepreneurship Program focuses on strengthening the foundations of early stage businesses through access to professional expertise. Entrepreneurs may receive support in areas including legal services, business planning, financial projections, financial statements and tax filing.
Legal support is provided through Endlex Legal Inc. Depending on the needs of an eligible business, available services may include incorporation support, minute book setup, shareholders’ agreements, service and employment agreement templates, confidentiality and intellectual property assignment agreements for technology founders, website agreements, privacy compliance, lease agreements, regulatory compliance and internal business policies.
