About Code Blue
Code Blue is a student-led emergency preparedness initiative that equips high school students with the knowledge and leadership opportunities needed to promote lifesaving education. Through local chapters, students organize educational workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities that help improve emergency preparedness among their peers.
Since its launch, Code Blue has expanded to 15 chapters across the United States, creating a growing network of student leaders committed to increasing awareness of emergency response and public health. The organization is currently recruiting new Region Presidents to help establish additional chapters and expand its impact.
About the Region President Program
As a Region President, you will play a key role in launching and managing a local Code Blue chapter at your high school or within your community. The programme is designed to help students develop leadership, communication, project management, and public speaking skills while promoting lifesaving education.
Region Presidents will coordinate educational initiatives, recruit student members, organize awareness campaigns, and work closely with fellow student leaders to strengthen emergency preparedness within their communities.
The programme is beginner-friendly, making it suitable for students with little or no previous leadership experience but who are enthusiastic about learning and making a difference.
Responsibilities
Successful Region Presidents may be involved in:
- Establishing and leading a local Code Blue chapter.
- Organizing workshops on CPR awareness and emergency preparedness.
- Promoting first aid education and allergy response awareness.
- Coordinating disaster preparedness campaigns.
- Educating students on emergency planning.
- Connecting students with CPR and First Aid certification pathways.
